Job Overview Client Service Representatives Needed for New Urgent Care/Emergency Hospital Opening July 2026 in Round Rock, TX Healing Hearts Animal Urgent Care is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist who serves as the first point of contact for our clients and patients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly and compassionately, and can help create a calm, welcoming experience during urgent and emotional visits. This is a Full-Time position with a 4 day/week & 9-hour shift schedule. One weekend day each weekend will be required. Start dates will be from June 24-July 1, 2026. Duties Greet clients and patients warmly while maintaining efficient check-in/check-out processes Triage phone calls and walk-ins, gathering key information and prioritizing urgent cases Communicate clearly with clients about wait times, services, and next steps Coordinate with the medical team to support smooth case flow Handle high-stress situations with empathy, professionalism, and composure Provide reassurance and support to pet owners during difficult moments Skills Previous veterinary reception or medical office experience preferred Experience with 'Otto' highly desired Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced, occasionally high-pressure environment Compassionate, calm, and solution-oriented mindset Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed. Healing Hearts Animal Urgent Care is a new kind of veterinary urgent care hospital — one built on calm, compassion, transparency, and heart. We care for dogs and cats when something cannot wait, while working closely with primary veterinarians and emergency hospitals to ensure every patient receives the right care at the right time.
