Dermatology Front Desk Receptionist

Position Details:

Hours:

Monday-Thursday (7:30 AM - 5:00 PM) and Friday (7:30 AM - 2:00 PM)

Job Duties:

• Greeting patients and managing the intake process.
• Answering and directing phone calls.
• Making appointment reminder calls
• Scheduling patient visits and follow-ups
• Completing patient check-in/check-out duties
• Managing patient demographics, insurance input, and consent forms
• Verifying insurance and processing payments.
• Utilizing practice management software for billing and patient service
• Organizing, cleaning and maintaining reception and waiting areas.
• Conform to all HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality Qualifications
• Exemplary customer service skills in person and on the phone
• Prolific technological understanding including telephone/computer/tablet use
• High school degree or equivalent required
• Strong work ethic in individual and team setting
• Willingness to learn and follow direction
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
