As the first point of contact for patients, this individual plays a critical role in creating a positive patient experience while supporting daily clinic operations. Due to the high volume of Spanish-speaking patients we serve, fluency in both English and Spanish is required for this position. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner Answer incoming phone calls and direct calls appropriately Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments Verify patient demographics and insurance information Collect copays and process patient payments Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and referral sources Assist with insurance authorization and verification processes as needed Manage incoming and outgoing clinic correspondence Perform general administrative and front office duties
Qualifications Required:
Fluent in both English and Spanish High school diploma or equivalent Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and office equipment Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment Professional appearance and demeanor
Preferred:
