YOUR ROLE AT CNG ENGINEERING
As the Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees. You will help maintain a professional, welcoming office environment while supporting the administrative and operational needs of the firm. Your work ensures smooth day‑to‑day operations, clear communication, and reliable coordination across teams, vendors, and departments. This role is essential to creating a positive experience for everyone who interacts with
CNG. WHAT YOU WILL DO
Create a Welcoming Experience Greet visitors, clients, and team members with professionalism and warmth Manage incoming calls, messages, and front‑desk inquiries Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception and lobby area Support Office Operations Coordinate mail, packages, deliveries, and courier services Manage conference room reservations, meeting schedules, and event logistics Maintain office, breakroom, and facility supply inventory Coordinate equipment maintenance and vendor communications Provide Administrative Support Prepare agendas, reports, presentations, meeting minutes, and other documents Maintain databases, project logs, calendars, and project‑related documentation Support QA/QC and project teams with document preparation and data entry Assist with scheduling, filing, scanning, and general administrative tasks Coordinate with Internal Teams & Vendors Work closely with IT to support employee systems access and office functionality Facilitate communication between staff, vendors, and service providers Support onboarding logistics for new employees Deliver High‑Quality Work Ensure accuracy, organization, and timely completion of assigned tasks Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment Uphold company quality, safety, and professional standards Perform other duties, tasks, and special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience in administrative and clerical support roles Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and standard office equipment Strong communication, customer service, organization, and multitasking skills Accurate keyboarding, data entry, and document preparation abilities Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment Ability to perform sedentary office work and lift up to 25 pounds with assistance Ability to travel to meetings, properties, and business‑related events as needed Flexibility to work after hours, weekends, and holidays when required Valid Texas Driver's License with acceptable MVR and ability to pass a background check Candidates with strong administrative or customer‑facing experience are encouraged to apply, even if they do not meet every listed requirement.
