Job Description
Description Our client is in need of a detail-oriented Receptionist to support front-desk operations for a real estate and property organization. This contract position will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, helping create a welcoming and organized office environment. The ideal candidate is courteous, dependable, and confident in managing inquiries, phone traffic, and guest coordination in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests warmly, manage front-desk check-ins, and guide visitors to the appropriate team members or departments.
- Answer incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, route messages accurately, and connect callers with the right internal contacts.
- Provide clear information to visitors and callers by responding to routine questions and escalating more complex requests when needed.
- Monitor reception area activity to support office security procedures and maintain an orderly, well-organized environment.
- Keep internal staff and department contact information current so guests and callers can be directed efficiently.
- Notify employees promptly when clients, vendors, or other visitors arrive for scheduled meetings or appointments.
- Support day-to-day administrative reception tasks that help maintain smooth communication across the office.
- Handle part-time front-desk coverage responsibilities with reliability and consistent attention to service quality. Requirements
- Prior experience in a receptionist, front-desk, or customer-facing administrative role.
- Ability to operate a multi-line phone or switchboard system and manage inbound calls efficiently.
- Strong verbal communication skills with a welcoming and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Comfortable directing visitors, answering general questions, and coordinating with internal staff.
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail when managing messages and visitor flow.
- Dependable attendance and the ability to perform effectively in a part-time contract position.
- Experience working in a detail-oriented office environment, preferably within real estate, property management, or a related industry.
