Duties Greet clients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently Handle medical collections accurately, ensuring all billing processes are transparent and timely Maintain detailed records of pet visits, treatments, and client interactions using veterinary software systems Assist with kennel management, including animal husbandry tasks such as feeding, cleaning, and monitoring pet behavior Provide excellent pet care advice to clients on topics like pet grooming and general animal care Manage incoming calls professionally, directing inquiries to appropriate team members or scheduling follow-ups as needed Assist with animal handling tasks such as dog handling when required for client education or support Experience Previous experience in veterinary reception or administrative roles within animal clinics is highly preferred. Will train the right person for the job. Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and critical care procedures enhances your effectiveness in this role Hands-on experience with animal restraint techniques and pet care practices is advantageous Familiarity with laboratory procedures, medical collection processes, and aseptic techniques is desirable Experience working with dogs, cats, or other animals demonstrates your versatility in handling diverse pets Strong skills in animal husbandry, pet grooming, dog training, and animal handling contribute to a well-rounded profile Prior veterinary experience that includes laboratory work or critical care settings will help you excel in supporting our veterinary team Join us to make a difference in animals' lives while building your career in a lively and supportive environment!
