  • Job DescriptionsFront Desk Coordinator
RGV Fatty Liver Clinic Location:
Weslaco Summary The Front Desk Coordinator is the first point of contact for patients at the RGV Fatty Liver Clinic. This role is responsible for providing a welcoming and efficient check-in experience, coordinating appointments, and supporting daily clinic operations. The position requires strong communication, multitasking, and customer service skills in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Greet all patients and visitors with professionalism and empathy.
  • Answer and route phone calls; respond to patient inquiries promptly.
  • Schedule and confirm clinic, procedure, and FibroScan appointments using EMR scheduling tools.
  • Manage new patient intake, verify insurance, and collect co-pays or balances.
  • Prepare and update patient records and consent forms in compliance with HIPAA.
  • Maintain front office organization, lobby cleanliness, and signage.
  • Support referral coordination, faxing, and communication with referring provider offices.
  • Assist with daily administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and correspondence.
  • Maintain supply inventory and coordinate maintenance of front desk equipment.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize daily patient flow.
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all communications. Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical front office or outpatient clinic.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
  • Experience with EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Friendly, professional demeanor and ability to work in a team setting. Work Environment Outpatient clinical office setting. Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. May involve occasional lifting of office materials up to 25 lbs. Benefits
