Summary:
We are seeking a Receptionist for our rapidly growing residential property management company. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our company, managing incoming calls, supporting daily office operations, handling light administrative and accounting tasks, and helping maintain an efficient and welcoming office environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive multitasker with excellent communication skills and a customer-service mindset, comfortable interacting with tenants, vendors, potential clients and team members. This position is in person only, based in our Holladay office and would be working a 9am - 5pm schedule Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities:
Answer and screen incoming phone calls professionally and promptly, addressing general inquiries, directing calls to the appropriate team members, and transferring calls as needed. Greet and assist visitors, tenants, and vendors in a courteous and helpful manner. Organize and maintain the office space, including supplies, filing systems, common areas, and mail distribution. Perform light office and administrative duties such as data entry, filing, scanning documents, preparing correspondence, and managing office calendars or schedules. Support basic accounting tasks, including processing invoices, collecting payments, preparing receipts, reconciling small accounts, and assisting with tenant billing or vendor payments. Assist with tenant communications, maintenance request coordination, and other property management administrative support as needed. Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information. Help with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidates:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or administrative certification preferred. 1-2 years of experience in a receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer service role (experience in property management, real estate, or a similar industry is a plus). Strong phone etiquette and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Google (Docs, Gmail, Sheets) and comfortable learning property management software. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and experience with invoicing or bookkeeping preferred. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and a positive, service-oriented attitude. Why Join Us?
