DR:
we all get along, we strive to serve our clients as well as we can, we work hard, and we have lives outside of the office. If this is what you are looking for, please read on. If not, please move to the next job posting. We have an opening for a fantastic new entry level member of our team as we have promoted the person currently in this role. You will be one of the first points of contact for our company, and a face and voice to the world. Your duties will include answering phones, scheduling meetings, offering administrative support across the organization ranging from scanning of documents to helping prepare pleadings and assembling medical records. You will have the opportunity to welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will also help coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. To be successful in our company, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should also be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. Ultimately, your duties and responsibilities would be to help ensure that phone and in person guests are positively welcomed, and to help with case work as needed. This position has a natural progression into a legal assistant and then paralegal and we encourage both people who are interested in a career in the legal field, and those with prior experience in a law office to apply. As time goes on it is hoped that whomever we hire would grow with our company and learn to prepare some of the documents for filing with courts. The last time we posted this job we got over 100 applications in the first two weeks, many that appeared over qualified. Maybe the economy is crap, maybe people really want to work in a law firm. Regardless of the reasoning, we want people that actually want this job so that our mutual time is well spent. After you apply, you are going to get a message. If you don't respond to the message within a day you will be taken out of the pool of interested applicants.
