Full time, open available is a must. Earliest shifts start 5am. Weekends 9am-5pm. If you have a passion for working with animals and providing exceptional care, we invite you to join our team as an Animal Care Specialist. As an Animal Care Specialist, your responsibilities would include providing care and support to animals, monitoring and recording animal behavior, administering medications and treatments as directed, maintaining cleanliness and organization of animal care areas, and providing care and support for pets in a professional and compassionate manner. You would also be responsible for monitoring the health and well-being of pets under your care, ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of pet care areas, maintaining accurate records of pet care activities and any observations or concerns, playing and interacting with dogs/cats and monitoring play, cleaning kennels, feeding animals when needed, mopping play areas, and writing report cards for pet guests. To be considered for this position, you must be 18 years or older and have a love for all animals and an understanding of animal behavior. You must also be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time, clean kennels, handle all sizes, temperaments, and breeds of dogs, work well with others, have a positive attitude, work holidays and weekends, including Sundays, work morning and afternoon shifts, mop large areas, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs without any physical or mental ailments that may impede your ability to perform this job.
