$12.70-$18.04 per hour (Typical starting wage $12.70-$15.37 DOE)
Hours:
Saturday, 8am-12pm (May 1- Sept. 30), 8am-4pm (Oct. 1-April 30)

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for performing a variety of clerical, secretarial and administrative support for department. Answers incoming phone calls; assist the public; processes data, documents and reports; and other duties as assigned by the Recreation Manager.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of secretarial and office practices and procedures; business English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation; organization, procedures, and operating details of the City; City government organization, functions, policies, principles, rules, and regulations. Skilled in office management duties; data entry; handling multiple tasks with interruptions; prioritizing and organizing workload. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing using correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation; maintain documents; comprehend, interpret, and explain rules and regulations; take initiative; work within a team; deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact and professionalism.

Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School graduation or GED, and One (1) year of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
