Mainstay Veterinary Practice Resort offers daycare, boarding, and training for dogs and cats. Position Overview We are seeking a receptionist who is passionate about building relationships with clients and their pets. People love talking about their animals, and we want someone who is excited to connect with them, remembers their names, and consistently goes above and beyond. This role is ideal for someone upbeat, organized, and eager to make every client interaction a positive one. A Receptionist at MVPR is responsible for customer service activities including, but not limited to: Providing exceptional, warm, and professional customer service Greeting clients and pets with enthusiasm and care Scheduling appointments and reservations for daycare, boarding, grooming, training, and consultations Promptly addressing incoming calls, responding to voicemails, and managing emails efficiently Building genuine relationships with clients and their pets Generating estimates and reviewing services with clients Processing invoices and payments accurately Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and reception area Communicating effectively with grooming, daycare, training, and kennel teams Requirements Prior customer service experience required (pet-care or veterinary experience is a plus but not mandatory) Friendly, positive, and comfortable around dogs and cats of all sizes Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and committed to excellent service Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn our software systems What We Offer Supportive and fun team environment Employee pet-care discounts Work Environment Fast-paced, high-interaction front desk environment Frequent standing and movement throughout the day Daily exposure to pets and pet-related activity Collaborative communication with all departments in the facility Join Our Team If you thrive in a people-focused, pet-loving environment and enjoy creating positive customer experiences, we'd love to hear from you!
