Job Description
This is NOT a seasonal position. This is a permanent position.
MUST LOVE DOGS AND HAVE ANIMAL HANDLING EXPERIENCE.
Must be able to safely handle dogs up to 100 lbs. Must be comfortable with senior, difficult and aggressive dogs. This is an hourly position, that with training or prior experience, has the potential to earn commission & tips. Looking to hireIMMEDIATELY
Must have experience or willing to be trained to bathe & brush dogs, clip nails, clean ears, brush teeth, as well as basic trimming to include paw pads, sanitaries and faces. Must be organized, able to multitask and customer service oriented.You will be responsible for:
- Checking in/out appointments, operating a cash register and scheduling follow-up appointments.
- Answering calls & returning messages
- Bathing, blow-drying, brushing, cleaning ears, brushing teeth and clipping/filing nails.
- Assisting with cleaning duties & keeping a clean work space.
- Assisting the groomers as necessary
- Other duties as necessary to perform job.
