Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, organized, and self-motivated professional to join our team. In this role, you will welcome visitors, answer calls, and serve as a link between field staff and customers. Responsibilities include responding to customer questions, preparing estimates, scheduling, and managing incoming deliveries and paperwork. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with Microsoft Office and social media are required. Responsibilities Greet visitors warmly, direct them appropriately, and maintain a professional front desk presence Operate multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries, and route calls with proper phone etiquette Manage calendar appointments, schedule meetings, and coordinate office activities using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office tools Perform data entry, maintain filing systems, and ensure accurate record keeping for projects and client information Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar accounting software, including invoicing and expense tracking Support project estimation by gathering necessary information, preparing quotes, and communicating with clients or vendors Provide administrative support such as proofreading documents, managing correspondence, and supporting office management tasks Build Vermont Moving & Storage social media presence. Skills Proven experience in front desk operations and office management roles Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and data entry skills Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment Exceptional customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and active listening capabilities Clerical experience including filing, proofreading, and document management Familiarity with QuickBooks or bookkeeping software is a plus Time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining accuracy Personal assistant experience or calendar management expertise is advantageous Join us to be part of a vibrant team where your organizational talents and customer-focused approach will make a real difference! $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
