Job Description
As a thriving Physical Therapy private practice, we are looking to add a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Front Desk/Receptionist to our team. The ideal candidate is a team player who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously and function in a fast-paced environment. A good fit at our office would have excellent customer service and people skills, a pleasant telephone demeanor and be someone who projects a professional and welcoming image at the front desk. Punctuality, reliability, and honesty are essential as is being professional, detail-oriented, organized, and engaged under all circumstances. The expected hours per week for this position are 25. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bilingual in English and Spanish is required. Computer experience is required. Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills. 2+ years customer service experience in medical, chiropractic, physical therapy, veterinary or similar office setting is a plus. Ability to multitask while still maintaining a high attention to detail. Every person in our clinic is responsible for promoting our practice. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Front Desk/Reception opportunity include: Understand and promote the mission, vision, and values of AIPT both in the workplace and in the community. Greeting patients in person and over the phone. Answering phones, checking & taking messages and returning calls. Scheduling appointments. Checking patients in and out of appointments. Making reminder calls. Reviewing patient registration documents. Collecting payments for services. Maintaining and organizing clinic medical records. Ensure exceptional service and professionalism, including problem resolution. Capture patient demographics, insurance, and structured data with each patient encounter. Answer and return calls timely and professionally. Maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA. Excellent communication skills written and verbal in English and/or Spanish. Excellent attention to detail.Pay:
