Role Description The Escrow Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role based in Olympia, WA. This position is responsible for greeting clients and visitors, answering and directing phone calls, and serving as the first point of contact for the escrow department. Daily tasks include handling incoming mail and deliveries, managing appointment schedules, maintaining an organized reception area, and performing general clerical duties such as accounting, filing, scanning, and data entry. The Escrow Receptionist will support escrow teams by preparing basic documents, coordinating with internal staff and external partners, and ensuring that clients receive timely, professional assistance. This role requires consistent, courteous communication and a strong commitment to accuracy and confidentiality in a fast-paced office environment. Qualifications Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with clients, visitors, and team members. Proficiency in phone etiquette and receptionist duties, including answering multi-line phones, routing calls, taking messages, and greeting guests. Clerical skills such as accounting, filing, scanning, data entry, document handling, and basic office administration. Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and external partners. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and maintain attention to detail in a busy office setting. Comfort with standard office software (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets); experience with real estate, title, or escrow systems is a plus. Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer-facing office role preferred; experience in real estate, title, or escrow is beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or coursework in office administration or customer service is an asset.
