Front Desk Receptionist Job Summary:
As a Front Desk Receptionist at our behavioral health office, you will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while providing essential administrative support to our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Interaction:
Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, appointments, and general information. Schedule and confirm appointments for clients while managing any changes in the schedule.
Administrative Support:
Maintain accurate client records and ensure confidentiality. Assist with the completion of intake forms and other necessary documentation. Process insurance verifications and co-pays and eligibilities as needed.
Office Management:
Keep the reception and waiting areas organized and tidy. Order and maintain office supplies. Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth office operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration or related field is a plus. Previous experience in a medical or behavioral health office preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Knowledge of insurance verification processes is desirable.
