No Fear Dentistry is seeking a highly skilled Front Desk Coordinator to play a pivotal role in delivering a seamless and compassionate patient experience. We are seeking a dedicated team member with customer / patient services experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental setting and possess a deep understanding of dental insurance verification, treatment plan coordination, and patient communication to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow within the practice. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities General Administrative Duties:
Scheduling Patient intake Appointment confirmations Patient inquiries Maintain an organized and efficient office environment while fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere for patients. Any other administrative tasks as needed Additional responsibilities to meet the needs of the organization.
Insurance Verification:
Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits for both new and existing patients. Stay up-to-date with insurance policies, changes, and regulations.
Patient Financial Assistance:
(10%) Educate patients on their insurance benefits and out-of-pocket costs, including co-pays, deductibles, and treatment costs. Assist patients in understanding financial options such as payment due the day of services, third-party financing, Wellness Program options.
Dentrix Ascend Software Utilization:
Utilize Dentrix Ascend software to manage the daily schedule. Generate and maintain accurate records for both patient accounts and insurance claims policies. Ensure data integrity within the system and assist in troubleshooting any software-related issues. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in customer / patient service. Dental preferred. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain scheduling, insurance and financial information to patients in a clear and empathetic manner. Ability to efficiently utilize patient communication and scheduling platforms. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. A passion for creating positive patient experiences and supporting a culture of excellence. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills. Career minded with a focus on personal and team growth.
