Job Description

Receptionist The Boat House of Whitewater is seeking a receptionist with experience in the recreational marine industry or general knowledge of outdoor recreation, tourism, or hospitality to join our team of professional, customer-focused individuals. If you are a customer service enthusiast with a passion for active waterfront environments, we have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to become the welcoming face of our team! As a Boat House Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience from the moment they arrive.
The ideal candidate will:
Be the face and voice of the Boat House to our guests. Familiarize themselves with our customers and cater to their needs. Greet and direct Boat House guests. Learn the most frequently asked questions and their answers. Handle all incoming phone calls for the Boat House, answering questions and directing guests to the appropriate department. Welcome and direct walk-in guests, answering questions and connecting guests with proper department. Act as a liaison/advocate for our customers with other departments such as accounting and service. Provide administrative support, including general clerical duties. Perform various clerical tasks, making calls on behalf of the organization, and documenting all necessary details for management review. Work independently and as a team to help the business achieve its goals. Be detail oriented. Attend all assigned meetings. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Assist in maintaining the professional, clean appearance of the business. Perform other duties as assigned. The Boat House is an EOE and participates in the federal E-Verify program.
