No Job Description We're looking for Switchboard Operators who are excited to support hospital-wide communication and provide exceptional front-line service. In this role, you'll manage incoming and outgoing calls, assist patients and visitors, and support essential hospital operations through communication and clerical duties. You'll also play a key role in emergency response communication and daily reporting processes. We value professionalism, strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Key Responsibilities Operate the hospital telephone system, managing incoming, outgoing, interoffice, and interdepartmental calls Initiate and relay emergency codes as required Create and maintain the daily EMTALA Call List Perform cashiering functions and basic clerical duties Greet patients, visitors, and staff, directing them appropriately Support department leadership with assigned tasks Collaborative Teamwork This role involves working closely with hospital staff, departments, and leadership to ensure effective communication and a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and team members.
