PBX Operator

PBX Operator (Part-Time, 32 Hours/Week) Are you someone who enjoys helping others and being at the center of communication? Santa Memorial Hospital is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented PBX Operator to join our team! In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for callers and play a key part in ensuring smooth communication across our hospital. What You'll Do Answer and direct incoming calls through the hospital's PBX system Provide information and assistance to patients, staff, and external callers Manage urgent and routine calls with professionalism and efficiency Maintain accurate call logs and follow communication protocols Support internal communication across departments as needed Schedule 32 hours per week 8-hour shifts , typically starting at 2:30 PM Rotating weekends required What We're Looking For Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and professionalism Previous administrative, call center, or receptionist experience preferred Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Santa Rosa, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
