Job Description

Job Overview The Suffield CT location is a full-cycle manufacturing plant that produces PTFE tube and stainless-steel braided hose from raw materials. All positions include operation of assigned equipment, including set-up, machine operation, and process monitoring to ensure product is made according to approved specifications. Mechanical aptitude, basic mathematical skills, basic familiarity with computers, the ability to read and follow written work instructions, and strong attention to detail are required Responsibilities Ability to properly read, set test pressure, accurately record test results, detect leakage from hose coils. Perform and record all required inspection checks. Fill out all required paperwork, tags, or labels correctly. Ensure that only quality product moves from area. Follow all safety rules and keep equipment in area clean at all times. Continuously work towards reducing scrap and improving production and safety. Perform other duties as seen necessary by management Operate the pressure testing machine & complete process documents Qualifications Proven experience with surface mount technology (SMT) assembly processes is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in manufacturing environments. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to pressure testing and safety protocols. Experience with quality assurance practices including quality control inspections and analysis skills. Proficiency in data collection, record keeping, and reporting procedures. $17.95 per hour
