$18.38•$26.65•The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Monday-Friday:
Week 1: Sunday 4:30pm-1am, Tuesday 4:30pm-1am, Wednesday 4:30pm-1am, Thursday 1:00-9:30pm. Week 2: Monday 4:30pm-1am, Tuesday 1:00-9:30pm, Friday 1:00-9:30pm, Saturday 4:30pm-1am.

A Brief Overview:
The Hospital Operator serves as the primary point of contact for all incoming calls to the hospital and is responsible for efficiently directing calls, taking messages, and providing information to callers. This role plays a vital part in the smooth operation of the hospital's communication systems, ensuring that all calls are handled promptly and professionally.
What you will do:
Professionally and courteously answering all incoming calls, routing them to the appropriate department or individual. Offering general information about the hospital, such as visiting hours, location, and services provided, to callers. Accurately recording and relaying messages to hospital staff, ensuring important information is communicated in a timely manner. Responding to emergency situations and code calls, coordinating with the appropriate personnel and ensuring that urgent information is relayed promptly. Keeping detailed and accurate records of all incoming and outgoing calls, messages, and communication activities. Helping callers who may be in distress, demonstrating empathy and professionalism when dealing with sensitive situations. Using hospital communication systems, such as telephone, paging, and intercom systems, effectively and troubleshoot any technical issues. Adhering to hospital policies and protocols, including patient privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA), to maintain compliance and confidentiality. Providing excellent customer service by addressing caller inquiries and concerns in a friendly and helpful manner.
What you will need:
Bachelors Degree Preferred 1 Year Experience in a telephone operator or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting required.
