Know Your Team:

The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus, a part of a rich legacy of compassionate care since 1909, now offers 378 licensed beds, a history of innovation, and strong community support. Responsibilities Work under the direction of the supervisor of the Switchboard/Answering Service supervisor. The Switchboard attendant will answer all calls promptly and courteously, recording messages accurately, and deliver messages following the physicians instructions. Keep accurate status information according to hospital policy. Cross-train in the area of the Switchboard and maintain proficiency. Maintain a friendly, caring, and professional attitude toward all employees, patients and other calling parties. Provide a good working environment within the department to insuring a safe and clean work environment

Qualifications Job Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. One year of working in a business environment.

Preferred Job Requirements:
