VA Switchboard Operator

Shreveport, LA Job Details Part-time $17.75 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description To operate the telephone switchboard and provide customer service and assistance for clients of the VA Medical Center facility. Must be available to work within a 24-hour, 7 day per week schedule, which may include some or all city, state, and federal holidays. Education and/or
Experience:
Requires high school diploma/GED or equivalent. Previous experience working with switchboards or telecommunications is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
•Based on the contract that we service, it stipulates that we are required to fill this position with persons having a disability and are able to provide proper, medical documentation of the disability.•
Screenings:
Must be able to pass a federal background check to gain physical and logical access to the VA Hospital.
