Job Description

Are you passionate about precision technology and helping customers find cutting-edge solutions? Lano Equipment is seeking a motivated, tech-savvy Leica GPS Salesperson/Grade Control Specialist to join our team at our Shakopee location. This role is perfect for someone with a background in construction technology, GPS systems, or heavy equipment sales who enjoys building relationships and delivering smart solutions.
What You'll Do:
Sell and support Leica GPS machine control and positioning products to new and existing customers. Conduct product demonstrations and provide training for customers on Leica systems. Collaborate with the equipment sales team to identify GPS integration opportunities. Work directly with construction professionals, site managers, and operators to assess needs and provide tailored solutions. Maintain strong product knowledge and stay current on new features, updates, and industry trends. Assist in the setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of Leica GPS systems in the field. Attend industry events and trade shows to promote Leica solutions and build connections.
What We're Looking For:
2+ years of experience in GPS, machine control systems, construction technology, or equipment sales. Strong understanding of Leica Geosystems products or similar technology (Topcon, Trimble, etc.). Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to explain complex technology in an approachable and practical way. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and within a team. Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for site visits and demos. Why Work at Lano Equipment?
