Job Description

SHIFT:
Monday through Friday 4:00AM- 12:30PM training (Approximately 6 months). After training, Monday through Friday 8:00AM -4:30PM as regular shift. Please be advised, applicants must successfully pass an eye test, background check, and full panel drug screen (including THC) for all maintenance positions.

SHIFT:

Role Summary The Electronic Technician supports maintenance and reliability of automated distribution systems, including conveyors and sortation equipment, ensuring efficient product flow in and out of the facility. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing electronic control systems such as PLCs, HMIs, and related automation technologies. Key Responsibilities Maintain and repair electronic systems across equipment such as: Conveyors, sortation systems, balers, AGVs PLCs, HMIs, barcode scanners, printers/appliers, and scales Communication systems (networks, radios, telephony) Design, program, test, and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems Diagnose and resolve system faults to minimize downtime and production loss Develop and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation Install, test, and ensure compliance of automation systems with engineering and code requirements Perform preventive maintenance and log inspection/repair activity Support and train maintenance staff on automation systems Ensure adherence to safety standards, PPE, and regulatory codes Work with electromechanical systems (e.g., VFDs, sensors, cameras, scanners)
Required Qualifications Experience:
Minimum 5 years in an industrial or warehouse automation environment
Technical Skills:
Strong PLC expertise (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff) Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams Proficiency with test equipment (e.g., oscilloscope) Troubleshooting and repair of automation and control systems
Education:
Technical certification or degree in controls, electronics, or related field Core Competencies Automation system troubleshooting PLC programming and diagnostics Electrical and controls design understanding Preventive maintenance execution Technical documentation and compliance Collaboration and training support Please be advised, applicants must successfully pass an eye test, background check, and full panel drug screen (including THC) for all maintenance positions.
