Receptionist/Switchboard Operator

Job Posting External Primary Responsibilities Answer telephones, take and relay messages for employees, and route telephone calls to appropriate parties. Greet visitors and callers, ascertain names and organizations represented and notify appropriate employee of visitor arrival. Issue safety glasses and name tags to visitors. Direct visitors to desired location. Support to other Departments - Perform a variety of routine typing and clerical duties for other departments as needed. Miscellaneous tasks such as maintain internal telephone directory. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Computer skills, including Excel preferred. Excellent communication skills. Ability to multitask.
