Job Description

Join the team at Hershey Lodge, an award-winning resort best known for being warm, welcoming, and distinctly Hershey. Offering 665 guest rooms and 100,000 square feet of function space, Hershey Lodge provides convenience and comfort for families and guests of all ages. This position is responsible for responding to all internal and external calls received through the Hershey Lodge's main switchboard console. Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job): Transfer calls to the appropriate destination
  • Accept requests for and place wake-up calls at the designated times
  • Accept and deliver accurate messages
  • Monitor the heat/smoke detector panel
  • Activate emergency response procedures when necessary
  • Monitor two-way radio communication with the security, engineering, and chauffeur staffs; and employ the paging system to locate staff
  • This position also cross-trains at the front desk
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrate courtesy, clarity of speech, and good judgment.
Job Demands:
Physical requirements include sitting (up to 100% of the shift), hearing, speaking, and finger dexterity. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Primarily eight hour shifts between 6:30 AM to 11:30 PM, including weekends and holidays.
