• Birmingham, AL Hull Dobbs Ford is looking for a high-performing, experienced Automotive Title Clerk to join our team.

This is not an entry-level role — we need someone who understands the importance of accuracy, compliance, and speed in a high-volume dealership environment. If you take pride in clean deals, zero errors, and staying ahead of funding issues, we want to talk to you. What You'll Be Responsible For Processing all vehicle titles, registrations, and tag work in compliance with Alabama state laws Verifying deal paperwork for accuracy and completeness prior to submission Submitting title applications to appropriate agencies and tracking status Resolving title discrepancies, rejections, and funding issues quickly Managing payoff checks and lien releases Maintaining organized records for audits and compliance Working closely with Sales, Finance, and Accounting to ensure deal flow efficiency What We're Looking For 2+ years of automotive title clerk experience (REQUIRED) Strong knowledge of Alabama DMV/title processing procedures Experience with dealership systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, etc.) Detail-oriented with the ability to spot errors before they become problems Ability to handle high deal volume without sacrificing accuracy Strong communication and follow-up skills Self-motivated and able to work independently What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Stable, high-volume dealership environment Supportive leadership and structured processes Opportunity for growth within the organization Full benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401k, PTO) Why This Role Matters At Hull Dobbs Ford, clean deals and fast funding are critical to our success.
