Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Real Estate Title Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will manage the accurate processing and review of property titles, ensuring all legal and procedural requirements are met for real estate transactions. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth closings and uphold the integrity of our title services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative law office environment, utilizing your knowledge of real estate law, research skills, and title processing to support our clients' property endeavors. Responsibilities Conduct thorough research of property records, including deeds, liens, easements, and other relevant documents using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools and databases. Review title reports to identify potential issues or discrepancies that could impact property ownership or transfer. Prepare and process title documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards and company policies. Coordinate with attorneys, lenders, surveyors, and other stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and timely resolution of title issues. Maintain detailed records of all title searches, correspondence, and transaction documentation in accordance with law office procedures. Assist in resolving title defects or encumbrances by collaborating with relevant parties to clear titles before closing. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries professionally and efficiently throughout the transaction process. Skills Strong knowledge of real estate law and legal terminology related to property titles. Excellent research abilities with experience navigating public records, GIS systems, and title databases. Proficiency in title processing software and familiarity with law office management tools. Ability to analyze complex documents quickly while maintaining attention to detail. Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, legal professionals, and external agencies. Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience working within a law office environment is highly preferred. Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
