The Opportunity

As a Remarketing Specialist you will provide quality and efficient customer service by performing administrative duties related to the remarketing of vehicle returns. Every call is an opportunity for you to use your communication and negotiation skills while working with customers, auto dealerships, vendors and financial institutions concerning retail and lease accounts. You will works with other team members to ensure that the daily workload of the center is completed. What is Remarketing? We prepare and manage the inventory of Ally's U.S. pre-owned retail and lease-return vehicles, which includes: Vehicle Return Management Transportation Logistics Inspection - Title Coordination Online and Physical Auction Sales Direct-to-Dealer Sales Direct-to-Customer Sales Visit ally to learn more. The purpose of this position is to provide quality and efficient customer service by performing administrative duties related to the remarketing of vehicle returns. This position works with other team members to ensure that the daily workload of the center is completed.
The Work Itself
Builds solid peer-to-peer relationships in a team environment to meet operational needs.
Communicates effectively and clearly on a daily, weekly, monthly basis with outside vendors to provide exceptional customer service regarding routine requests.
Supports rigorous quality, control and compliance programs to include an ongoing control/compliance self-assessment process.
Performs data entry, inventory audits, reconciliations, etc. to ensure alignment between vendor systems and Ally systems.
