Salary equal with experience. Overview Join our team as a Title Examiner and play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of property titles for real estate transactions. In this position, you will review, analyze, and verify title documents to facilitate smooth closings. Your expertise will help uphold industry standards, support compliance with federal regulations, and contribute to the overall success of our operations. Responsibilities Verify the accuracy of title information against existing records and show potential issues or discrepancies that may affect property transfer. Collaborate with underwriters, loan officers, and escrow officers to resolve title issues promptly and facilitate seamless loan and closing procedures. Maintain detailed records of all title searches, findings, and correspondence for audit purposes and future references. Stay updated on changes relevant to legal requirements affecting property titles. Assist in preparing reports or summaries related to title status for internal teams or external clients. Qualifications Proven experience as a Title Examiner or in a similar role within the mortgage or financial services industry Familiarity with escrow procedures, basic math skills, and contract review processes Ability to perform detailed research using public records systems and legal databases efficiently. Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail; capable of managing multiple cases simultaneously. Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and explain complex title issues clearly. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of real estate transactions while supporting our commitment to transparency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
