Job Description

itle Clerk We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Title Clerk / DMV Specialist to join our team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of vehicle title work while maintaining compliance with Colorado state regulations and dealership policies. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, lending institutions, and dealership personnel. Pay is $20.00-$25.00 Depending on Experience Key Responsibilities Process vehicle title work accurately and efficiently within established timelines. Handle out-of-state title processing requirements. Monitor and track title work through completion, identifying and resolving discrepancies or issues promptly. Maintain reporting on outstanding title work and monitor aging to ensure timely completion. Communicate title status updates and requirements clearly with customers and internal team members. Notify dealership leadership of significant title-related issues to minimize liability and compliance risks. Verify sales tax calculations prior to title submission. Stay current on Colorado title regulations, DMV requirements, and industry updates. Ensure all title-related documents, including Powers of Attorney, are properly executed by the authorized individual. Report any concerns regarding improper document execution immediately to management. Process abandoned vehicle paperwork and related documentation as required. Support additional administrative and operational tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous experience in automotive title processing, DMV work, dealership administration, or related office experience preferred. Knowledge of Colorado title and registration procedures is highly desirable. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with dealership management systems and Microsoft Office applications preferred. Professional, customer-focused attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.
