Job Description

Automotive Title Clerk Ulrich Ford Lincoln | Pella, Iowa Join a dealership that values doing things right. Ulrich Ford Lincoln is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Title Clerk to join our dealership office team. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a critical function within a stable, family-owned dealership that has served the community for more than 90 years. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of accuracy, compliance, and follow-through, and who takes pride in keeping title work organized and current.
Pay:
$17-$23 per hour based on experience and qualifications
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM with a one-hour lunch. Approximately one Saturday per month required. What You'll Do Title & Registration Administration Process all new and used vehicle title and registration transactions Prepare and submit title, tax, and registration paperwork Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Maintain custody and control of vehicle titles and Manufacturer's Statements of Origin (MSOs) Verify lienholder information and payoff documentation Monitor and resolve outstanding title issues Maintain accurate title schedules and reporting Support dealer trade documentation and billing Assist with warranty and service contract registration Office Support Responsibilities Assist with accounts payable functions Post vehicle sales and purchases Provide occasional receptionist and cashier coverage as needed Support customers and internal team members professionally and efficiently What We're Looking For Preferred Qualifications Previous automotive title clerk experience Strong understanding of title and registration procedures Experience working with dealership management systems Knowledge of DMV processes and requirements Experience handling lien releases, payoffs, and title corrections Success in This Role Requires Exceptional attention to detail Strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines Professional communication skills A high level of integrity and accountability Commitment to accuracy and compliance Benefits Medical insurance (effective after first 30 days) Optional dental, vision, short- and long-term disability insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off Six paid holidays annually Employee discounts on vehicles, parts, and service Paid training and professional development Supportive team environment Ready to Apply?
