$18.00•$25.00 per hour based off experience About the Role Oakes Auto Group is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Title Clerk to join our dealership team. This role is responsible for processing vehicle titles, registrations, and supporting dealership accounting and compliance operations with accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate is dependable, process-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing deadlines and multiple transactions at once. Automotive dealership title experience is preferred. Pay & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off + paid holidays Employee discounts Career growth across multiple stores Locally owned and operated Tuition reimbursement Community involvement and volunteer opportunities What You'll Do Process titles, registrations, title transfers, and lien paperwork for new and used vehicle sales Submit title documentation to DMV offices, lenders, and state agencies accurately and on time Verify customer information, sales tax documentation, and deal paperwork for accuracy and compliance Maintain organized title records and track outstanding title work Support wholesale title processing and inventory title management Resolve title discrepancies and missing documentation efficiently Communicate with customers, lenders, DMV offices, and dealership staff professionally Maintain accurate accounting and transaction records Assist with additional accounting or administrative responsibilities as needed What We're Looking For We are looking for motivated individuals who align with the Oakes core values, including service leadership, consistency, commitment to work, doing the right thing, and maintaining a winning attitude. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Candidates who are dependable, process-focused, professional, and committed to accuracy will thrive in this role. Previous dealership title, accounting, or automotive administrative experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean or acceptable driving record Ability to pass a standard background check Strong reliability and consistent attendance Comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems Ability to stay professional under pressure and manage multiple tasks at once Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Previous dealership title, accounting, or automotive administrative experience preferred but not required About Oakes Auto Group Oakes Auto Group is a locally owned and rapidly growing dealership group serving the Kansas City metro.
