Overview Join our dynamic team as a Licensed Title Agent and become a vital part of the real estate transaction process! In this energetic role, you will leverage your expertise in real estate law, research, and title processing to ensure smooth and accurate property transfers. Your keen attention to detail and customer service skills will help clients navigate complex title issues confidently. Duties Conduct thorough research of public records, land records, and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) data to verify property details and ownership history. Process title documents accurately, including title commitments, policies, and escrow instructions, ensuring compliance with legal standards. Review title reports for potential issues such as liens, encumbrances, or discrepancies, and communicate findings clearly to clients and team members. Collaborate with attorneys, escrow officers, and clients to resolve title defects or legal concerns swiftly and effectively. Maintain detailed records of all title processing activities, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality at all times. Provide exceptional customer service by guiding clients through the title process with professionalism and clarity. Utilize GIS tools for property mapping and spatial analysis to support accurate title determinations. Requirements Valid license as a Title Agent with proven experience in real estate law and title processing. Strong research skills with the ability to analyze public records, land titles, and legal documents efficiently. Knowledge of GIS technology for property mapping and spatial data analysis is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor capable of handling sensitive information discreetly. Experience working within a law office environment or similar legal setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with the entire title process from initial inquiry through issuance of policies or certificates. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members in a fast-paced setting. $59,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
