Experienced Title Clerk (Part-Time) Independent Used Car Dealership - Concord, NC Join Our Team We are a community first, locally owned independent used car dealership in Concord, North Carolina, seeking an experienced Part-Time Title Clerk to assist with vehicle title processing and related administrative functions. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is familiar with North Carolina & South Carolina DMV requirements and can work independently in a fast-paced dealership environment. Position Summary The primary responsibility of this role is processing title and registration paperwork for retail vehicle sales, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately and in compliance with North Carolina regulations. Responsibilities Process vehicle title transfers and registration paperwork for sold vehicles Prepare and submit title applications to the
NC & NC DMV
Verify accuracy of sales documentation and supporting paperwork Track title status and resolve title issues when necessary Maintain organized title and deal files Process lien releases and payoffs Coordinate with customers, lenders, and DMV offices regarding title matters Ensure compliance with federal, state, and dealership policies Assist with general office and administrative duties as needed Qualifications Previous experience as a dealership Title Clerk required Strong knowledge of North & South Carolina DMV title and registration procedures Current North Carolina Notary Public commission required Experience with dealer management systems preferred Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer applications Professional communication and customer service skills Schedule Part-Time Flexible schedule (approximately 2-3 days per week) Hours may vary based on dealership needs Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience Flexible work environment Opportunity to work with a locally owned fast, growing dealership group
