Job Description

Overview Join our growing team!! We are a busy, reputable Auto Dealership looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Title Clerk. If you thrive in organized settings, possess strong communication skills, and enjoy multitasking, this position is perfect for you! Duties Prepare, review, and process vehicle titles, registrations, and related legal documents accurately and efficiently. Handle title transfers, out of state titles and title corrections. Verify all paperwork for completeness and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Prepare and submit all DMV paperwork accurately and on time. Collaborate with sales and finance to ensure proper documentation for vehicle sales, trade-ins, and leasing agreements. Maintain all records and filing systems. Communicate effectively with DMV offices, lienholders, insurance companies, and customers to resolve any title issues or discrepancies. Resolve title issues and follow up with Banks, Auction houses and State agencies. Support dealership administrative functions by handling cashiering duties related to title fees and taxes. Skills Previous Title Clerk experience within automotive or retail environments is preferred. Strong knowledge of DMV processes and title regulations. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in computer systems and Dealership software (Autosoft, CDK, Reynolds or similar is a plus) Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines. Positive attitude and strong customer service skills HIgh school diploma or equivalent required.
