Job Description

Essential Job Duties:
The essential job duties referenced above are important for the job to be accomplished. Other job duties may be required. Ensures the company's tag and title work meets state requirements. Process DMV paperwork for new, used and wholesale vehicles for the dealership. Prepares necessary paperwork for submission to the tag agency. Correspond with finance department & customers on a daily basis Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lienholder paid off before processing title applications. Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete. Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Tracks the status of any missing or problem titles and provides a current list of outstanding titles to the management team. Prepares and submits all legal transfer documents to the state department of motor vehicles (DMV). Manages vehicle documentation, including tax and title information, registrations, etc. Provides timely and accurate reports as required. Process all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be tiled. Prepare tax and title documents. Submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles. Verify that funds have been collected and the correct lien holder paid off before processing title applications. Check for accuracy in the application and ensure all information is completed correctly. Compile and maintain a complete list of all outstanding title work. Report to management on the status of any missing or problem titles. Maintain strict compliance with all Title laws and filing requirements. Accurately record and file completed vehicle sales deals. Participate and keep up to date with on the job training and continuing education required by Manufacturers, Vendors and other outside sources as requested by Management.

Desired Qualifications:
1 year of automotive DMV experience PA title experience required High school diploma/GED required Bachelor's degree or 3+ years customer service or relevant experience Excellent communication and organizational skills Willingness to participate in in-house and outside training
