Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Title Clerk, where you will play a vital role in managing vehicle title processes and ensuring seamless documentation for our dealership. Your expertise will help streamline title transfers, registration, and related administrative tasks, contributing to efficient vehicle sales and customer satisfaction. Duties Prepare, review, and process vehicle titles, registrations, and related legal documents accurately and promptly. Verify ownership details and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Coordinate with sales, finance, and service departments to facilitate smooth title transfers and vehicle registration procedures. Maintain detailed records of all title transactions, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality. Manage inventory control related to titles and registration paperwork, ensuring proper filing systems are in place. Communicate effectively with customers, government agencies, and internal teams to resolve any title or registration issues. Stay updated on changing automotive laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance. Skills Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for accurate documentation processing. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and external agencies. Proven experience in automotive dealership operations or administrative roles within the automotive industry. Knowledge of inventory management systems and title processing software. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, cashiering, customer service, and phone etiquette. Experience with outbound sales or public speaking is advantageous for engaging with clients effectively.
