Job Description

Location Remote:
Indianapolis Division Must be a Licensed Title Agent Steel City Settlement, LLC dba Steel City Title, part of Maronda Homes, is a multi-state Title and Settlement company helping homeowners, mortgage lender, land developers and real estate agents with the settlement process. Our core principle is keeping clients happy through our consistently smooth and efficient closing process. WE are looking for a Licensed Title Agent/Closer to join our exciting and growing team of Title Professionals for a remote opportunity supporting our Indianapolis Division .
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviewing contracts. Opening files and ordering searches. Importing title search. Preparing title commitments, CPL's and closing disclosures. Preparing buyer and seller miscellaneous closing documents. Clearing title issues (i.e. lien, quiet title, title vesting issues, payoffs, etc.). Communicate with buyers to confirm correct information for contracts. Communicate with realtor to confirm correct transactional information. Other duties as required.
Requirements:
Two years of experience as a Closer for a Settlement Agent in Indianapolis Excellent oral and written communication skills. Reliable and detail oriented. Strong organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with preparing Closing Disclosures/Settlement Statements. Provide high level of customer service including building of strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and Developers. Currently licensed in
