This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento. Under the general direction of the Executive Director, New Motor Vehicle Board (NMVB) in the NMVB Legal Division, the Attorney III performs the following duties: Please refer to Duty Statement. Working Conditions:
Part-time telework available. Telework requires California residency. This position offers hybrid telework opportunities; however, telework arrangements are subject to change at any time based on State & departmental operational needs. Employees may be required to report to the office as necessary. Position located at 2415 1st Ave Sacramento, CA 95818, Sacramento County This position provides hybrid telework opportunities. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and based on Department of Motor Vehicle's evolving telework policy. We support telework and recognize that in-person attendance may be required based on operational needs. The selected candidate will be required to commute to the headquartered location as needed to meet operational needs. Regular and consistent attendance is essential to successful performance. Occasional (approximately 4x/year) business travel is required, and reimbursement considers an employee's designated headquartered location, primary residence, and may be subject to CalHR regulations or applicable bargaining unit contract provisions. All commute expenses to the headquartered location will be the responsibility of the selected candidate.

The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is a recognized leader in public service and has existed for over 100 years. The DMV is responsible for registering approximately 36 million vehicles in California, and serving 34 million driver license and identification card holders, collecting over $14 billion in annual revenue. The DMV also maintains and oversees many other functions. The DMV provides quality licensing and motor vehicle-related services in its field offices located throughout California and online at www.dmv.ca.gov
Special Requirements:
