  • May 26, 2026 at 6:00PM (MDT) Key Responsibilities As a Title Insurance Auditor/Market Conduct Examiner, you will: Investigate and respond to inquiries and complaints relating to title insurance issues from consumers, insurers, agents, and other entities on title insurance misconduct.
Conduct on-site and desk audits of title insurance agencies and their financial documents. Responsible for determining the nature, scope, and direction of the audit. Analyze available financial data and marketing information to determine compliance with statute and administrative rules. Negotiate outcomes between consumers, insurers and the department Write investigative reports, assist the department attorneys in developing cases for hearing, and testify in administrative proceedings. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Our ideal candidate will have: Experience conducting investigations and compiling a case. The ability to analyze financial data for potential issues. Experience in auditing financial statements, accounting systems and records, and marketing material. Experience as an insurance professional in the title insurance industry. Extensive knowledge of insurance rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Strong well-rounded computer and writing skills. Additional Requirements to Note The Title Insurance Auditor/Market Conduct Examiners is required to travel throughout the state to conduct audits and investigations. You must have a valid driver's license to be considered for this position as per Utah Administrative Code R27-7. If you are currently licensed with the Insurance Department, your license will be suspended while you are employed by the Department. Your license can be reactivated once you are no longer employed by the Department. About the Role Location
