This contract opportunity is ideal for a title professional with homebuilding title processing experience who understands title searches, title commitments, encumbrances, and closing documentation. In this role, you will help ensure accurate, timely title review and preparation for home closings while working with lenders, agents, and internal closing teams. The position offers initial onsite training for approximately 1 to 2 weeks, followed by a primarily remote work arrangement with occasional in-office needs. This is a strong opportunity to join a collaborative real estate title environment where accuracy, teamwork, and strong process execution are valued. Key Responsibilities Order, review, and process title searches in accordance with company and local title examining procedures. Prepare, update, and maintain lender title requests, title commitments, and related file documentation. Examine title documents to verify ownership, legal descriptions, liens, judgments, easements, and other encumbrances. Identify title defects or discrepancies and coordinate required actions to support clear title and successful closings. Order and track surveys, estoppels, prior policies, and other documents needed for refinancing, home sales, and closing transactions. Maintain organized files, records, reports, and communication with lenders, agents, and external partners.
Compensation and Benefits Pay:
