Title Abstractor

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team at Allied Title Company. This role is essential in researching, analyzing, and verifying property records to support the title production process. Experience in title, land services, or real estate is a plus but not mandatory. We will train the right person who's teachable, demonstrates initiative, reliability and a desire to grow. Responsibilities Research public land records, deeds, plats, surveys and related documents to determine property ownership. Identify and review restrictions, encumbrances, liens, judgments, delinquent taxes and other matters of record. Verify legal descriptions and confirm legal access to properties. Compile accurate run sheets and documentation used to create title commitments. Summarize research findings clearly for title examiners and escrow staff. Maintain accuracy and consistency in all title research and documentation. Provide excellent customer service by communicating findings clearly and promptly to internal teams or external clients. Experience Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Good written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with legal professionals and clients. Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience working in a fast-paced setting that demands precision and timeliness.
