SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Title Officer / Examiner will report to management in regard to the daily tasks needed. The candidate for this positon should possess a detail-oriented mindset and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong attention to detail, interpersonal and focusing skills. This person should have the ability to multi-task while maintaining an upbeat and professional demeanor and needs to have the skills to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented atmosphere. Attention to detail is a must. If you have experience in the title industry and are looking for an opportunity to become a part of a dedicated, detail oriented, fun and outgoing team, then this may be the job for you! The responsibilities and salay will be dependent upon your level of experience.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
(5) Years Minimum Experience in the Industry Prepare and review title commitments, title policies, and other encumbrances Conduct thorough title searches, examine public records, and analyze documents to determine ownership, liens, and other encumbrances Cooridinate with customers, attorneys, lenders, real estate agents involved in the closing process Ensure timely and accurate completion of transactions Efficiency - Good Work Ethic, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Pay attention to detail Good communication skills; verbal and written Examine and Verify Title and Real Estate Records Summarize Legal and Insurance Documents Produce neat and well-presented work Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines. Knowledge of computer software and computer skills, including quick typing ability Examine documents for completeness, accuracy, or conformance to standards Calculate premiums using insurance rates standards Maintain records, reports, and/or files Copy, Fax, Email send out Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information File all folder information in electronic Greenfolders program Customer Service - Excellent communication and customer service skills, including greeting of customers Phone Calls - Assist in receiving incoming calls and ensure questions and needs are directed to appropriate person Assist Customer Service & Title Officer Backup (As Needed) Other duties as assigned
