Job Description

Job Overview As the Administrator of Wildwood Recovery Center, you will provide on-site, visible, hands-on leadership, management, and direction to the facility while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, client-centered care. The Administrator will oversee all aspects of the organization's operations, including culture, medical/clinical services, recovery programming, staff management/development compliance, public relations, financial management, and physical plant excellence. You will work closely with executive leadership to establish goals, implement policies, and ensure the organization achieves its mission of supporting individuals in their recovery journey. The Administrator will combine performance-driven leadership, integrity, and a strong work ethic with a deep understanding of addiction recovery and behavioral health services. You will cultivate a culture of trust, excellence, accountability, compassion, and hospitality ensuring the sustainability and growth of Wildwood Recovery Center. Additionally, you will utilize these skills and abilities to manage the startup and operation of the Virginia Opioid Abatement Authority funded wellness center project. Responsibilities The Administrator is accountable for safe, structured, and high-quality operations that support strong recovery outcomes. 1. Quality Patient Care, Recovery Outcomes, and Rapid Access to Treatment Oversee medical, clinical, and program operations to ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, client-centered care. Maintain occupancy goals through effective referral management, admission flow, and retention. Monitor and improve key outcomes, including client engagement, appropriate length of stay, and successful step-down/discharge planning. Ensure staff are trained and supported to deliver consistent, high-quality care aligned with Wildwood Recovery Center's standards. 2. Compliance, Ethics, and Facility Excellence Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA, licensing, and accreditation standards. Maintain a safe, structured, and high-quality environment and physical plant that supports both medical/clinical care, recovery outcomes, and operational excellence. Oversee risk management efforts to protect clients, staff, and organizational assets. Uphold the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and psychological safety across the facility. 3. Staff Development and Accountability Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing multidisciplinary team aligned with the THRIVES values. Provide ongoing coaching, performance management, and accountability, including decisive "coach up or coach out" leadership when needed. Foster a culture of psychological safety, teamwork, and professional growth through recurring training and clear expectations. Promote staff engagement, ownership, and accountability for recovery outcomes. Manage conflict so that staff remains focused on client care and facility goals. 4. Operational Efficiency and Transparency Provide visible, consistent, and steady hands-on leadership of daily operations in alignment with Wildwood Recovery Center's mission and THRIVES framework. Implement systems and workflows that improve throughput, communication, and consistency across departments. Monitor and report key operational metrics, ensuring transparency and continuous performance improvement. Maintain strong relationships with referral sources, community partners, and key stakeholders to support access, reputation, and growth. 5. Financial Stewardship Oversee the facility P&L to ensure financial sustainability, margin performance, and responsible resource utilization. Align staffing, programming, and census management to support occupancy targets and financial goals. Review financial and census performance regularly and implement corrective action when needed. Identify and advance strategic growth opportunities, partnerships, and program enhancements. Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Social Work, or a related field preferred, but not required. Master's degree preferred. At least 5 years of leadership experience in behavioral health, addiction recovery, or a related field. Proven track record of managing financial resources, patient care, staff development, and organizational growth. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and foster collaboration. Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. Pay:
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
