POSITION SUMMARY
Sioux Manufacturing Corporation is seeking an aspiring individual to fill an Administrative Trainee position. This position will learn the responsibilities of various positions under the supervision of our management team, and employees. This position is a permanent position that will float between departments.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work in various departments of the organization to gain the knowledge and tools necessary to become a part of the future management team. This will include completing training within the company's various departments, giving the trainee a comprehensive view of the many facets of the organization, as well as the positions, relationships and departments that allow it to be successful. Main duty is to gain as much knowledge of the organization as possible and prepare for a managerial role. Learn the internal policies and practices of the organization. Spend time observing experienced staff of the organization to learn about the necessary methods and procedures. Collaborate with senior management in setting goals and objectives. Learn about the inner workings of the different departments of the organization. Communicate with various members of the organization. Learn about SMC's history to gain a good understanding of the organization. Learn and understand the Quality Management System. Build strong working relationships with SMC leadership and their operations teams. Develop general knowledge of manufacturing operations with understanding of day-to-day workings and manufacturing strategic planning. Correctly, follow standard procedures, policies, and work processes pertaining to the department or position that have been assigned and working on. Participate in management meetings to learn how the organization operates.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in other internal committees as requested by the CEO. While following all safety procedures and processes, properly maintain the equipment you are operating. Continually keep work areas clean, free of safety hazards, assist others in the process as needed. Give full attention to what other people are saying, take time to understand the points being made, and ask questions as appropriate. Other duties as assigned by your department mentor.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Fast learner with a thirst for fully understanding the manufacturing function of SMC. Proven ability to successfully work and handle multiple tasks. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective operations for the safety of people, property, and Sioux Manufacturing. Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, statistics, and their applications. Knowledge to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts to improve your skills and/or department processes. Knowledge to develop constructive and working relationships with others to cooperatively work together and achieve quality products timely and support positive interactions over time. Must be able to work under pressure and within quick timelines. Well-developed writing and grammatical skills. Good sense of responsibility and confidentiality. Confidence and enthusiasm when sharing ideas and working with other team members. Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Be able to effectively communicate information to co-workers, department supervisors, department management, and ensure accurate transition of that information. Ability to manage your own time and be aware of the time of others. Ability to use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether current processes comply with standards operating procedures, quality standards and/or documented client provided requirements. Demonstrated communication skills are necessary for this position to be successful.COMPUTER SKILLS
Common office and department computer programs, such as desktop software, Microsoft Office Suite, Human Resources / timekeeping, machine specific, ERP, work-related phone apps. EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE
Our ideal applicant is a recent graduate of an Administration, Business, Finance, Human Resources, Management, or similar program.Required:
