Job Description

Admissions & Benefits CoordinatorFull-Time | Competitive Compensation + Exceptional BenefitsWe are seeking experienced and highly organized Admissions & Benefits Coordinator to support the admissions process while helping individuals and families navigate benefits, entitlements, and service eligibility.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a professional who enjoys problem-solving, working directly with families, coordinating documentation, and ensuring individuals receive the services and financial supports they need. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, detail-oriented, customer-service driven, and able to manage sensitive information with professionalism and urgency.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate admissions, intake, and transition processes for new individuals entering servicesAssist families and stakeholders with benefits and entitlement processes, including Medicaid, Social Security, and related documentationMonitor eligibility requirements, track timelines, and maintain organized records to support continuity of servicesServe as a key point of contact for families, care coordinators, hospitals, and referral sources throughout the admissions processCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth transitions, accurate documentation, and timely service coordination
Qualifications:
Experience in healthcare, human services, admissions, benefits coordination, case management, or a related field preferredKnowledge of Medicaid, Social Security benefits, entitlement systems, or OPWDD-related services strongly preferredStrong communication, organizational, and follow-through skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentialityAssociates or Bachelors degree preferred depending on experience
